Privacy policy
STRATIQ is built with a privacy-first mindset. We avoid tracking wherever possible, we do not sell personal data, and we store only what we need to run your account and provide access.
Last updated: 13 December 2025
1. Who we are
“STRATIQ”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the operator of the STRATIQ website and services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use STRATIQ.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to our website, dashboards, account features, support communications, and related services. It does not apply to third-party websites or services you may access through STRATIQ (including payment providers), which have their own privacy practices.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide
- Account details: email address and a password (stored as a one-way hash, not as readable text).
- Support messages: information you choose to send to us if you contact support.
3.2 Information we generate to run the service
- Session data: login session identifiers and session expiry timestamps.
- Security signals: limited anti-abuse indicators (for example: truncated IP and a hash of your browser user agent) to help detect suspicious access patterns.
- Email verification and password reset tokens: token hashes and expiry timestamps to complete those flows.
- Plan access records: which plan is active, the current period start/end, and an external subscription reference when applicable.
3.3 Payment information
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (for example, Stripe). We do not store full card details on STRATIQ. We may receive limited billing-related metadata such as plan tier, subscription status, and identifiers needed to manage access and handle refunds or disputes.
3.4 What we do not collect
- We do not ask for private keys or wallet seed phrases.
- We do not connect to your exchange accounts to place trades.
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not run marketing trackers as part of STRATIQ’s core functionality.
4. How we use information
- To create and maintain your account (signup, login, email verification, password reset).
- To provide access to dashboards and plan features.
- To process subscriptions, manage upgrades/downgrades, and handle refunds where applicable.
- To protect STRATIQ and users from abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
- To operate, maintain, debug, and improve the reliability of the service.
- To comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our Terms.
5. Legal bases and permitted grounds
We process personal data only when we have a valid legal basis or permitted ground to do so, including:
- Contract: to provide the service you request (account access and paid subscriptions).
- Legitimate interests: to secure and operate STRATIQ, prevent abuse, and improve reliability (balanced against user rights).
- Consent: where required for certain communications or non-essential technologies (if added later).
- Legal obligation: to meet tax/accounting requirements, handle chargebacks/disputes, and respond to lawful requests.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
STRATIQ uses strictly necessary cookies to run the service, such as the authentication session cookie used to keep you logged in. Without these cookies, core features like login and dashboard access will not work.
If we add non-essential cookies in the future (for example, analytics or marketing tools), we will provide an appropriate notice and choices before those technologies are used.
7. Sharing and disclosures
We share personal data only as needed to run STRATIQ, including:
- Service providers (“processors”): hosting/infrastructure, email delivery, and payment processing providers that help us operate STRATIQ.
- Legal and safety: if required to comply with law, protect rights and safety, prevent fraud, or enforce our Terms.
- Business operations: in a corporate transaction (e.g., reorganization), with appropriate protections.
We do not sell personal data. If a legal framework distinguishes between “selling” and “sharing” for cross-context advertising, STRATIQ does not operate as an advertising business and does not provide personal data to third parties for targeted advertising.
8. International transfers
Depending on where you live and where our service providers operate, your information may be processed in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers (for example, contractual protections and security measures).
9. Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
- Account data: kept while your account is active.
- Sessions and tokens: expire or are deleted/invalidated on a rolling basis.
- Deletion requests: when you delete your account, we delete/anonymize STRATIQ product data and disable active sessions. We may retain limited records that must be kept for legal obligations (for example, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, disputes, and chargebacks), with minimization and restricted access.
- Payment records: payment providers may retain separate records under their own obligations and policies.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:
- Request access to personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion/erasure of data (subject to legal exceptions).
- Object to or restrict certain processing in some circumstances.
- Request portability of certain data in a usable format where applicable.
- Withdraw consent where we rely on consent (this does not affect processing already performed).
- Opt out of certain uses where a law provides that right.
You can delete your STRATIQ account from inside your logged-in area. For other requests, contact us using the details below.
12. Children
STRATIQ is not intended for children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to STRATIQ, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
14. Contact
If you have questions, concerns, or requests related to privacy, please contact STRATIQ support using the contact method listed on the Support page.
